Worship music, message, and community
come together into one unique storyline.
Good Friday in the Village is an evening that highlights the purpose, life, and death of Jesus Christ. This event will be filled with worship and readings that will bring the Easter season to life. Churches throughout our area will come together to host this night and our prayer is that you will see the “Church” of Jesus Christ come together for one great event. What is Good Friday?
Good Friday is the Friday immediately preceding Easter Sunday. It is celebrated traditionally as the day on which Jesus was crucified.
In the accomplishment on the cross, as he died for sinners, Christ revealed the love and righteousness of God the Father. Jesus became, in his death for sinners and in his resurrection for their life, the central and supreme revelation of the glory of God. Christ crucified is therefore both the means and the end of God’s purpose in the universe.
We will celebrate this epic event and give glory to Jesus in our time of worship.
